A chaotic school Run

Unleashing a lovely day,the clock struck seven,

Chaos of the day has only just begun.

One needs milk, the other needs me.

Coats to zip,shoes to find.

The socks do not match ,

Breakfast to be served from scratch.

There comes the alarm;it's time to go,

But she watches phone for my patience to go.

Off to the school, with school dress neat.

Red lights teasing, running late.

Traffic crawls and clock won't wait

Only to pray not to seal the school gate

Near to the school gate, the race is done

She goes to the class with silent bye,

Meets her friends with graceful hi.

Off I go to the car park zone,

This crazy, lovely phase will be gone,

Out she grows and will manage alone.

But the memories stay of the chaotic school run

Thirty-Six and Thriving
